In partnership with American University, the founder of KINOVAT, Inc., Asmara Beraki Marek, taught students to create films in Washington D.C. for local community organizations including the D.C. Mayor's Office of Volunteerism, The City Kids Wilderness Project, The Czech Embassy, and Georgetown Heritage, an organization revitalizing the canal.
